Dear Id Pro Quo Author,

Hi! I'm very excited to be participating in Id Pro Quo this year; I've missed the past couple years due to Life, and I'm so happy to be back. In this letter, I have more information on individual requests, as well as my DNWs and information on stuff I do like. I have requested fanfiction for my official gift, but would be delighted to receive fanfiction or fanart for additional treats.

DNWs: Please no animal harm/death, body horror, gore, asylums/institutionalization unless it's in canon (Channel Zero), lobotomies or other treatment for mental health other than meds or therapy, the characters I've requested dying, graphic descriptions of suicide or self-injury, "she was crazy the whole time!" twists. Please no betrayal (even pretend for plot reasons if the betrayed believes it's real), incest, scat, snuff, tentacles, bestiality, ovi-kinks, tickling as a kink, vore, vomiting, xenophilia. Please nothing about the current political climate (I'm an American and I'm not okay). And please no sad endings: There can be angst and sadness in the stories themselves (and with some of my prompts I imagine that might be impossible to avoid), but I'd like at least a hopeful ending.

LIKES: Now, the things I do like: I love stories. Stories are my favorite thing. I love all kinds of stories, but my favorites tend to be character driven. They have dialogue and small moments that illustrate relationships or grow characters, not just move the plot along. I love small character details. I want to know about Ice Kazansky's first crush. I want to know if Mia's dreams change when she goes to the sea. I want to know what Zoe Wood's favorite piece of jewelry is. I want everything. You cannot give me too much.

I love found families, and close relationships both romantic and non. I love all the different kinds of love the Greeks had that are all in Tumblr gifsets now. I love people loving each other and enjoying each other’s company. I love the little ways people love each other. I love you by ironing your shirts. I love you by drawing little cartoons in the steam of the mirror when you're in the shower. I love you with my lungs burning and blood on my knuckles because that guy talked shit about you. I love you by memorizing the constellation of freckles on your shoulders. I love you by biting my tongue and letting you win when you are so, so, so wrong. I love love. It’s the best thing.

I love banter. I love wordplay. I love little details in stories that teach me about ... anything. The characters, sign language, the pelagic zone of the ocean. I love small intimacies and characters who do the right thing over the smart thing.

(Please feel free to mix and match prompts however you like; I just organized them a bit because I thought it might be helpful.)

I love them so much. True, forever, titanium, bulletproof love. Give me anything with these two just loving each other. Enjoying each other. Getting to have each other. Give me married Icemav figuring out how to program their television. Give me Icemav young and raw in their 20s, the inferno of their love and desire. Give me alternate universes, alternate timelines. I cannot get enough of them. If I had the equipment, I would take them intravenously.

Preferences: For omegaverse, I prefer omega Ice and alpha Maverick. In any sort of dominant/submissive roles, I prefer submissive Ice and dominant Maverick. For any hurt/comfort stuff, I prefer hurt Ice and comforting Maverick. The id wants what it wants.

Maverick and Goose get a lot of attention, and they should, but Ice and Slider are also BFF goals. Slider is a good bro. I'd love more of them bro-ing, whenever, however. Similarly, Maverick and Bradley get a lot of attention, but I'm so interested in what Bradley's relationship with Ice is like. You don't have to go full-on parental if that's not your thing (though I do love that thing), but I want to know. I want to know what it looks like through Bradley's life; I want to know what it looks like after Bradley and Maverick reconcile. (Because Ice did not die; I don't know what you're talking about.)


BLUE MY MIND (2017): Mia/Gianna

1. You think you’re turning into a monster but I think you’re beautiful


2. Hurt/Comfort: A non-judgementally tends B's self harm wounds

I love how Gianna saw Mia in a way no one else would. I love how Gianna saw Mia even though Mia didn't want anyone to see her. I love how Gianna thought she was incredible when Mia hated herself the most. I really liked the way this movie ended, but a part of me wanted more for Mia and Gianna. There's so many ways you could do this: maybe during the events of the film, Gianna sees what Mia is doing to herself and stops her, cares for her. Loves her the way someone—anyone—should have loved her all along. Maybe after the film, Gianna looks for her. Maybe they find a way to be together, to build a life together despite everything keeping them apart.


CHANNEL ZERO (TV): Zoe Woods & Luke Vanczyk & Louise Lispector & Izzy Marcus

1. Everything is Beautiful and Nothing Hurts

Really, you can focus on any of these characters and/or relationships, and I'll love it. I really loved Butcher's Block, and my favorite part was this little family that was forged through all the insanity, and how they got a happy ending together. I would so love to read about their life after the events of the series.

My tropes mostly amount to SOFT AND LOVING FAMILY LIFE, and you can mix and match these as you like.
