I have been selected for a study by 23andme looking at genetic links to bipolar disorder and depression. In addition to providing my DNA sample, I will take periodic surveys about my health, mood, medications, and all sorts of other stuff. I am now science!

Mostly I am doing this to improve understanding and treatment of mood disorders, but I also get my health and ethnicity genetic profiles free, and, "other forms of compensation unforseen," lol.
