I have finished my Yuletide story and one treat, and I was trawling the requests for additional prompts. I found one I thought I might like to try, and then noticed the recipient was someone for whom I had written works in ficswaps previously... who had never even acknowledged the gift, not just not commenting, but not even leaving kudos. I don't write just for the thumbs ups, but that really burnt me, so I passed her request right by. Don't be that person. Writing is a difficult and time consuming endeavor--a labor of love, if you will. Say thank you; it's not hard.
