sick of being sick

Ragazzi, take my advice and do not be sick during a record breaking cold. It is spectacularly unpleasant.

That does mean, unfortunately, that yes, I am still sick. I finally went to the doctor yesterday because the virus has spread to my eye. Did you know that is a thing that can happen? You can get a cold in your eye? Neither did I. SURPRISE.

Of course, the nurse told me what I already knew, that I am suffering from a virus and there's nothing to do but wait it out, but I did get some drops to make my eyes feel better.
