Hello, Yulegoat! I am so excited that you're here! I love Yuletide, and I love these fandoms, and right now I love you. I'm sure I'll love anything you write, but I've written this letter to give you a little more information on me and my fandoms.

My name is Carly, and in real life I am a published author and poet who writes for higher ed. So I spend a lot of time writing, and reading other people's writing. I love to read all sorts of things, but I do have a soft spot for the following: found families, kickass women, sharp dialogue, the irreverent outlaw reluctant hero trope, and virtuosos. I dislike gore, excessive violence, anything approaching non-con, and betrayal. I love moody character pieces, but honestly, for Yuletide I really want to read something that will make my heart grow three sizes. 'Tis the season and all. It's okay if your story is moody and introspective along the way, but what I really want for Yuletide is a happy ending.

And now, a little more information on my individual prompts:

Thunderheart (1992)

Characters: Ray Levoi, Walter Crow Horse

Thunderheart is my heart's fandom. You can read my thoughts and fic on it on the i heart thunderheart tag. Why I love this movie: the writing is near-perfect, the acting is spot-on, and it makes me feel all the feels. As for fanon on this film, I ship Ray/Walter like whoa. During the film they flirt like mad, and no one will convince me that they don't screw like bunnies minutes after the credits roll. Ahem. Anyway, I would love any Thunderheart fanfiction--unless it's about the film's white guys, because yawn, don't care--but if you wanted to write me some Ray/Walter hurt/comfort, that would not go amiss. If you're not comfortable writing the boys together, that's totally fine; a story focusing on either one of them would be wonderful. I'd love to read about Ray's time in deep cover or Walter's life after the residential schools and before Ray Levoi.

Burn Notice

Character: Lucy Chen

I like Burn Notice a lot. It's a really smart, funny, sexy show, and I love the found family aspect. However, you'll notice that I've only requested one character, not an ensemble. Because you know who got the short end of the storytelling stick? Lucy Chen. She's always intrigued me, and I noticed during my recent rewatch that her story just gets abandoned in the series' early episodes. I would love a story about Lucy in her spy days, or just generally being badass and looking good doing it. I ship Michael/Fiona and don't particularly want to read about Lucy as someone's love interest.

Misfits

Characters: Alisha Bailey, Simon Bellamy

You know what was totally unfair? What happened to Alisha and Simon. I mean, I love Misfits, but that shit is rough. So what I'd like for this prompt is a sweet, romantic, totally-happy-ending-with-no-one-getting-sliced-up-by-a-ghost-or-shot-by-a-psycho Alisha/Simon story. Because I totally ship them, and we did not get a lot of cute Alisha/Simon moments, and I feel a little robbed.
